A location description describes the condition of a house/apartment at the start of the rental period and compares it with the condition of the same property at the end of the rental period. EPC NR: "New requirement from 1 January 2025"
Besides the classic EPC certificate, there is also such a thing as the non-residential EPC, abbreviated EPC NR. This document is intended for buildings that do not have a residential function such as office buildings, schools, town halls, hospitals,... From 1 January 2025, all non-residential buildings with a usable floor area of more than or equal to 1000m² must have an EPC non-residential, regardless of sales (or other transfers) or rentals.
