Step 1: Surf to Real Estate Experts website: www.vastgoedexperts.be.
Step 2: Click on the 'Calculate your price as an individual' button on our homepage.
Step 3: Indicate the region of your property.
Step 4: Enter the address of the property.
Step 5: Indicate which services you want to order. If you order other services in addition to EPC inspection, you will receive automatically a discount of 20-50% on The EPC inspection!
Step 6: Enter the property type, year of construction and any other details such as area.
Step 7: At the bottom you will see the price of your order.
Step 8: If you agree with the price, click 'next step' at the bottom
Step 9: Fill in the billing details
Step 10: You can now complete your order by clicking 'Submit request'.

Your request will then reach one of our planning staff. They will within 24 hours contact you by phone after the application to fix an appointment. So be sure to keep an eye on your phone or mobile after you submit an application through our website!

After we have made an appointment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. In it, you will receive further explanation about the course of the inspection and any documents you should have ready. For the EPC inspection, for example, it is important to demonstrate the type of insulation used in the house by means of invoices.

On the day of the appointment, our employee will show up in equipment from Real Estate Experts. This way, he/she is easily recognisable. It is not necessary for the owner to be present during the inspection, but obviously our inspector must be given access to the property.

Our experts always follow the instructions of the Flemish government's inspection protocol during an EPC inspection. This is a set of guidelines that every energy expert must respect while performing an EPC inspection. It ensures that all inspectors work in the same, standardised way, so there is no room for personal interpretation.

After the inspection has been carried out, our expert can start drafting the desired attestation. A few days later, you will receive the invoice via e-mail. As soon as we have received the payment, you will receive the certificate by e-mail. Please note: we can also send the certificate by post, but to do so we charge an administrative fee of € 10. That way, we try to avoid wasting paper.
